The Chatham Maroons are less than a month away from playing their first pre-season game.

Their six-game exhibition schedule consists of home-and-home series with the LaSalle Vipers, Sarnia Legionnaires and Komoka Kings.

The Maroons kick off the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League pre-season in LaSalle on Wednesday, Aug. 21. They host the Vipers on Sunday, Aug. 25, at Thames Campus Arena at 2 p.m. The Vipers ousted the Maroons from the Western Conference playoffs last March in a six-game quarter-final.

The Maroons continue the pre-season by travelling to Sarnia Wednesday, Aug. 28, and hosting the Legionnaires Friday, Aug. 30, at Thames Campus Arena at 7 p.m. They go to Komoka on Saturday, Sept. 7, and play the Kings Sunday, Sept. 8, at Chatham Memorial Arena at 7 p.m.
